TONY BAKER – DIRECTOR AND MORTGAGE ADVISER

Tony has over 25 years in financial services both as a mortgage broker and previously at Lloyds Bank. As such Tony has a vast experience of providing sound advice and has the ability of evaluating even the most complexed mortgage propositions.

Having a passion for his clients having based his career at building strong long-term relationships and for providing mortgages and related insurances, he works tirelessly in getting the right deal for his clients.

His ambition is to continue to build a world-class mortgage brokerage. In his spare time he is a sports and music fan enjoying watching football and cricket. Tony is a big Madness fan and has attended over 100 of their concerts. He is married to Vicki and has two children Jessica and Oliver who he loves dearly.

VICKI BAKER – DIRECTOR AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Vicki heads up business development here at Chambers Financial Services, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her previous career in estate agency. She loves how varied her role is and enjoys the opportunities it affords her to meet lots of different people.

Outside of the office Vicki enjoys going to fitness classes at the gym. She also enjoys going away on holiday and eating out and trying new restaurants.

CHLOE BROWNE – MORTGAGE ADMINISTRATOR

Chloe has been with Chambers Financial Services for the last two years. She is the member of the team that keeps all of our cases on track, and she tenaciously chases lenders and solicitors when required. Her favourite part of the job is seeing the happy expression on our clients faces when we have helped them to achieve their dream home.

Before working at Chambers Financial Services, Chloe worked in childcare – but was headhunted by Tony and Vicki to join the team. In her spare time Chloe enjoys socialising with her friends and family, as well as shopping and designing furniture.

DARREN GLOVER – MORTGAGE ADVISER

Following 30 years experience in Financial Services with Lloyds Bank, Darren has joined Chambers Financial Services to support clients with their mortgage plans. Darren loves to help clients by getting to understand their mortgage plans and finding ways of assisting them through every step of their mortgage and protection journey.

If he is not discussing mortgage plans, Darren enjoys playing tennis and keeping active with cycling and taking part in local parkruns.

JOHN CARROLL – BROKER SUPPORT

John joined Chambers Financial Services in October 2017. His role is that of Broker Support in assisting the Brokers within the Company.

He has over 40 years’ experience in Financial Services, working for a major UK Bank. Most of that period was spent working in the City of London as a Commercial Manager helping Small Business’s with their growth and aspirations.

John is passionate about helping people and his work for Chambers Financial Services enables him to continue with this passion in supporting my colleagues in meeting Client needs.

His interests include football (watching as opposed to playing!), music & travelling.

KELLY LANNING – MORTGAGE ADMINISTRATOR

Kelly joined Northern Rock in 2001, starting in customer service and working up to be the branch manager of a new mortgage service centre which opened in 2007. Kelly gained her CEMAP & equity release qualification in 2006.

2009 Northern Rock joined the Virgin Group and was rebranded Virgin Money in 2011. Kelly, left in 2014 after having my second daughter for some time at home before returning to work at Chambers in Jan 2020.

Kelly loves following the customer journey and working with such an amazing team.

Outside of work Kelly enjoys cooking, eating out and exploring new places.

DEBBIE FRAKE – OFFICE MANAGER

Debbie worked in the City in the Lloyd’s of London insurance market for over 20 years as an Office and HR Manager. Debbie has joined Chambers to support the smooth running of the office and to ensure best practice across all aspects of the business, freeing up our advisers to do what they do best, which is looking after the needs of our clients.

The enthusiasm the whole team exudes in wanting to do its very best for each and every client, overlaps into the warm, friendly atmosphere in the office, and makes coming to work at Chambers a real pleasure.

Outside of work Debbie enjoys spending time with her family, seeing friends and playing golf (badly).

JAMES HORGAN – MORTGAGE ADVISER

James qualified as a mortgage and protection advisor in April 2019. Prior to that he worked in fraud prevention, investigation and anti-money laundering.

James joined Chambers Financial Services in May 2020 and said, “There is a wealth of experience here with a strong emphasis on professionalism. I have had a huge amount of support from the whole team which has helped me to become the advisor I am.”

Outside of work James is family orientated and recently welcomed his third son. He loves going on adventures in the forest and to the lake with his family. They regularly head to West Bay in Dorset to spend time on the beaches fossil hunting and on walks around the countryside.

He is a ex-competitive swimmer and still loves getting into the pool. Also a keen rugby player. James says, “My head tells me I have another season in me. My body has other ideas.”

SAM BAILEY – HEAD OF MARKETING

Sam is an experienced marketer, having spent the last ten years working in that sector – across a number of small businesses, not for profit organisations and in a freelance capacity. Day to day he is responsible for managing our social media presence, website and other marketing activity.

Having recently been helped by Tony to secure a mortgage to purchase his first home, Sam knows the difference that the personal touch and expertise can make when securing a mortgage offer.

Outside of the office Sam is a cricket fan and keen amateur cook, he spends a lot of his time trying to perfect Italian recipes with varying levels of success.

JASON BROWNE – MORTGAGE ADVISER

Jason has been in the financial services industry for over 25 years, the majority of this has been spent working in the broking sector of the city.

Jason joined Chambers Financial Services in 2017, working as a Mortgage and Protection advisor, retraining to focus more fulfilling role helping local people to realise the dream of home ownership. Outside of work he enjoys football, supporting Arsenal FC and boxing. Jason’s all time hero is Chris Eubank.
